About The Event
We will spend the day working on the increasing number of pieces which have become ‘Harp Society Pieces’.
Please bring with you copies of: -
1) the pieces by Jakez François (Ragtime (from his Easy Swing book), Valse Parisienne and Bistrot-Tango),
2) the ensemble pieces from our most recent Harp Islands
a. the 4 pieces Helen Morrison introduced us to in 2021 - Flight of the Mountain Blue Bird, Snow Flurries, Kling Glöckchen and Meadow Lark,
b. Jakez François’ Harp Island Suite (which we played with Jakez in 2022)
c. from this year Black in the Colour, Cumbia Deliciosa and The Lass of Glenshee.
If you have any questions or need copies of any of the above pieces, please email Kathleen McMahon and let her know if you would like the music sent to you beforehand.
There will also be time during the day for solo and duet/ensemble performance practice.

Lunch: Bring your lunch, own cup, spoon and any special tea, coffee, milk etc.
(only basic tea, coffee and milk will be supplied)
