PLAN FOR THE DAY:

10am - Arrive and morning tea. There is plenty of parking adjacent to the hall.

10-30am to 12 noon – Morning session led by Kate Fraser. This session will have a Celtic feel. Kate will introduce a selection of Celtic music from Galicia, Asturias and Brittany. These regions were occupied by people of Celtic origin, but their songs, dances and rhythms differ from the Irish and Scottish styles with which we are more familiar. Some of you may remember the visit years ago of Cécile Corbel from Brittany.

12-noon to 1-00 pm Lunch

1pm to 3pm - There will be time for solos, duos, ensemble performances and group pieces, so please bring the following music with you, Flight of the Mountain Bluebird, Kling Glöckchen, Meadowlark, Snow Flurries, The River Flows in You, Habanera Gris, Lass of Glenshee and Clancy’s Reel.

Contact Kathleen McMahon to RSVP. Please let Kathleen know if you would like music sent to you before the day. Phone 64282672 Email kmcmahon7315@iinet.net.au

COVID-19 Restrictions: The HST will be following the advice current at the time of the event from the Tasmanian Government re Covid-19 guidelines. We ask that you please maintain social distancing, and practice good hand hygiene.

Come for the day, or weekend, or even a week and have a holiday in beautiful north-west Tasmania. There is accommodation in Sheffield, Cradle Mountain is close by, or beaches if you prefer. Harp sitting can be arranged if you want to go off hiking.

Looking forward to seeing you there.
